Master's degree in International Relations and International Organisation from the University of Groningen. Lived in Rwanda and Italy prior to joining VNG International. Currently involved in VNG International's projects in among other Rwanda, Ghana, Mozambique. Thematic focus on Urban Development and the Humanitarian-Development Nexus. With all the diversity in both geographical and thematic areas of our work, strengthening the capacity of local governments is the common factor. Through experience in a variety of our programmes, I am thoroughly convinced that this targeted capacity building is a sustainable approach to bring tangible benefits for people living in our target areas.
