Mr Van der Valk holds a Master’s degree in International Relations, with a specialisation in democratisation processes. He is an experienced manager of large and complex projects contributing to transitions and reform processes in developing countries. His experience was gained in various regions around the globe, among which East and Southern Africa, the Caribbean and North Africa and the Middle East. Currently he mainly focusses on Asia, carrying responsibility for VNG International’s portfolio and country office in Myanmar. Business development, management of foreign branch offices and coaching, are among his key areas of expertise.
